Notice of Solicitation: Call for Pre-Applications (Intent to Apply)
SFY2025 Alaska Community Transit Human Service Grants – Intent to Apply
The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Alaska Community Transit (ACT) office
awards funds to eligible applicants through the Human Service Transportation Grants to provide transportation services which meet the special needs of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and Alaska Mental Health Trust beneficiaries for whom public transportation services are unavailable, insufficient, or inappropriate. Human Services Transportation Grants are funded by:
- FTA Section 5310, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities
- Alaska Mental Health Trust (AMHT)
- Local Match (approved non-DOT Federal funds may be used)
The Intent to Apply period will be open August 14, 2023 thru September 25, 2023 for the SFY2025 Human Service Transportation Grant program. Notice to apply forms are located on the Alaska Community Transit website at: www.dot.alaska.gov/transit.
Intent to Apply period closes at 4:30pm September 25, 2023.
All agencies, including current subrecipients, must submit an Intent to Apply form to be eligible to apply for human service funding from the Alaska Community Transit office. The SFY2025 ACT grant applications period will be open October 2023 through December 2023.
- New agencies, and agencies that have not received funding in the past 5 years, please submit the Intent to Apply - New Applicants form.
- Current subrecipients please submit the Intent to Apply - Current Applicant form.
