NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
Anarraaq and Aktigiruq Exploration Program Plan of Operations Approval (F20229339POOA) and Reclamation Plan Approval (F20229339RPA) – Phase I, Amendment I – Alternate Material Site Access
The Alaska Department of Natural Resources has received a request to amend the Plan of Operations and the Reclamation Plan for Anarraaq and Aktigiruq Exploration Program subject to Alaska Statutes 38.05 and Alaska Statutes 27.19.
APPLICANT: Teck American Incorporated (TAI).
PROJECT NAME: Anarraaq and Aktigiruq Exploration Program, Phase I, Amendment I
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The lead-zinc resources of the Anarraaq-Aktigiruq located within the Lisburne Mining District approximately nine miles north of the Red Dog Mine and 89 miles north-northwest of Kotzebue.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: This amended plan is for activities upon private and State managed lands as listed:
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: TAI is requesting approval to amend the current Plan of Operations and Reclamation Plan to include the development of alternative access roads to material sites AA-MS-1 and AA-MS-4 for the Anarraaq-Aktigiruq Exploration Program.

After review and adjudication, we may issue an approval with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
