The Department is soliciting for sealed bids to provide design and construction bids to make earthquake repairs as described within Section 01000 of the ITB. Location of work will be at the Anchorage Correctional Complex in Anchorage, Alaska and also at the Hiland Mountain Correctional Center in Eagle River, Alaska. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., 5/18/2020. Bids will be opened at 550 W. 7th Avenue, Suite 1800, Conference Room, Anchorage, Alaska. Note: This is subject to change due to COVID19. This will be a Federal funded project.
A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for this project. It is “Highly Recommended” that you attend the pre-bid site visit that is scheduled for May 12, 2020 at 10AM at the Anchorage Correctional Complex in Anchorage, Alaska and on May 13, 2020 at 10AM at the Hiland Mountain Correctional Center in Eagle River, Alaska. Please contact Ryan Henderson, Project Manager, at ryan.henderson@alaska.gov to register and submit your request for security clearance forms. Bidders will need to submit a “Request for Clearance” form to access the facilities for each individual attending. This form is included in the bid documents.
