Funding
Funding for the first two phases was made available by a single state appropriation in FY13. Funding for the third phase will be obligated this summer and is being made available through federal and state matching funds for the Village Safe Water Program. Funding for the last two phases will be requested at a later time and may come from multiple sources.

Amendment #1: The purpose of Amendment #1 is to replace the web link for the Team Connection Site Spreadsheet in RFP Sections Two and Four, and to remove from RFP attachments and replace with web link.
The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Division of Water, Village Safe Water Program is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested teams in response to this request, which initiates a multi-phase project to research, develop and test innovative and affordable technologies to provide basic water and sewer service to homes in rural Alaska. Up to six (6) of the highest ranked teams, submitting SOQ’s, will receive funding to develop written proposals in the next phase.
