Site Visit:
A mandatory site visit and project tour will be held at 10:00 A.M. on October 7, 2026. The meeting location will be at the Willow Section House (see attached map). Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the meeting location. Following a project safety briefing, ARRC personnel will escort attendees onto railroad property and conduct a guided tour of the project limits utilizing an ARRC high-rail bus. Due to vehicle capacity limitations and the logistical requirements associated with railroad access and track protection, attendance is strictly limited to one (1) estimator or authorized representative per bidding firm. Pre-registration is mandatory and must be completed no later than 4:00 P.M. (Alaska Time) on October 5, 2026, a minimum of three (3) business days prior to the site visit.
Interested vendors must contact wallaces@akrr.com to register. Only vendors who have pre-registered and received confirmation from ARRC will be permitted to attend. No walk-in attendees, late registrations, substitutions, or additional attendees from the same firm will be accommodated without prior written approval from ARRC. All attendees must wear the following required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the site visit:
• Hard hat
• ANSI-compliant high-visibility safety vest
• Safety glasses
• Sturdy protective footwear with closed toes
