Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has received an application for the following development within a section line easement:

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested to install, operate, and maintain a submerged fiber optic cable on state-owned, DNR lands between Cordova and Seward. The requested easement is 821,689 feet long and 30 feet wide, totaling approximately 566 acres, more or less.
The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein.
REQUESTED TERM: 30 years

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
