Public Notice of Preliminary Decision: ADL 422741, Land Lease Application, STAK Energy Corporation

Pursuant to AS 38.05.070 the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Oil and Gas
(Division), has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 50-year lease to STAK Energy
Corporation for a 715.4-acre parcel located within Sections 1-4, 9-12, and 13-16, Range 13E,
Township 6N, Umiat Meridian, and Sections 25-28 and 33-36, Range 13E, Township 7N, Umiat
Meridian. The proposed lease site is located adjacent to the Dalton Highway approximately 26
miles south of Deadhorse. The proposed use of the site is for construction, operation, and
maintenance of a commercial natural gas-powered energy facility, including modular high-performance computing units, on-site natural gas power generation infrastructure, operations and
maintenance buildings, fiber optic communication links, and supporting utilities.

This notice serves to inform the public of the proposed lease. The public is invited to comment
on the project. Copies of the Preliminary Decision may be obtained from the Division. Interested
parties have the right to comment during the public notice period and the commenters who are
aggrieved by the Division’s Final Finding and Decision (FFD) will have the right to appeal it. To
be eligible to appeal the Division’s FFD, under AS 38.05.035(i)-(m), a person must have
submitted written comments during this comment period. A copy of the FFD will be sent to any
person who comments on the Preliminary Decision and will include an explanation of the appeal
process.

All comments must be received in writing at the mailing address or email below no later
than 4:30 PM Alaska Daylight Time on June 15, 2026.
