Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has received an application for the following development:
APPLICANT: Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility
PROJECT NAME: ADL 234831
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Anchorage, Alaska
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 15 of Township 12 North, Range 4 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested the creation of an easement for the purpose of relocating a section of the existing force mains via horizontal directional drilling a portion of lands underlying Campbell Creek. The proposed easement will be approximately 200 feet in length and 60 feet in width, totaling approximately 0.28 acres in size.
The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein.
REQUESTED TERM: Indefinite
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: June 1, 2026
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made. To ensure consideration, comments must be submitted in writing and received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 West 7th Avenue, Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK, 99501 on or before the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
