GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located 25 miles west of Mount Veniaminof on the north bank of the Sandy River about 5 miles downstream of Sandy Lake.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant Rod Schuh is requesting a 5-year land-use permit for a seasonal hunting camp on state lands near Sandy Lake for the months of May then September through October. The camp would consist of one 24'x36' wood platform to facilitate one 12'x16' and two 10'x12' weather port structures. The wood platform will remain but all other materials will be cached on site when not in use. The permit would also allow for the use of two additional short-term portable camps in support of the base camp.
