The public is invited to participate in the first meeting of the re-authorized Citizens’ Advisory Commission on Federal Management Areas in Alaska (CACFA) on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, starting at 1:00 p.m.

The twelve-member CACFA Board considers, researches, and may hold hearings on, the effect of federal regulations and federal management decisions on the people of the state.  CACFA may make a recommendation on the concerns raised to an agency of the state or an agency of the United States that manages federal land in the state.

Topics on the Board's agenda for this meeting include: 

• Board Officers;
• Initiating the recruitment of an Executive Director for CACFA; and
• Other organizational issues
