Request for Information (RFI) for .NET & Umbraco Webmaster Services for the Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Division of Administrative Services, is requesting information from qualified vendors regarding the provision of webmaster services for the department’s suite of .NET and Umbraco-based public websites. This market research is intended to help the department understand the range of available support models and vendor capabilities for ongoing website maintenance and support.
Vendors responding to this RFI should be able to provide ongoing webmaster support for the DMVA’s main website (DMVA.Alaska.gov), Ready.Alaska.gov, and other divisional sites. Primary duties include routine content updates, application-level security patching for the Umbraco CMS, and regular weekly check-ins to address accumulated support tickets. The department is less interested in project-based engagements and instead seeks information on scheduled or recurring maintenance support arrangements. All work must comply with normal State of Alaska security and access requirements.
A more detailed description of the required webmaster services is provided in the attached Request for Information (RFI) document.
Vendors that believe they can provide these webmaster services should submit a response that includes a description of their relevant experience and qualifications, the approach to scheduled maintenance and security patching, and any additional value-added services they may offer within the scope of this request.
This Request for Information does not constitute nor guarantee that the State will proceed with a solicitation for the requested services. The State is not responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of any response to this request. However, if this request draws sufficient interest from qualified vendors, a solicitation may be issued.
Responses must be received by no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on Monday, June 9, 2025.
