The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Southcoast Region
Materials (SRM) requests quotes to provide all crew and equipment to complete Drilling and Traffic
Control Services for a geotechnical subsurface investigation along Egan Drive in Juneau, Alaska.
The investigation will provide soils data for the design of new signal poles, light poles, and
embankment widening at the intersection of Egan Drive and Yandukin Drive (Figure 1 & 2). A
total of 13 borings are planned for this investigation and estimated to take 10 days to complete.
Drilling will be supervised by DOT&PF Southcoast Region geologists. DOT&PF will obtain any
necessary permits and perform the utility locates.
Drilling Description:
