GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Within the Alaska Range, near the Styx River

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 8, Township 20 North, Range 21 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: A 5-year Land Use Permit for a tent camp over 14 days and seasonal caching in support of big game guiding.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: August 1, 2025
End: October 31, 2030

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: April 8, 2025

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
