NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the City of Manokotak, P.O. Box 170, Manokotak, Alaska 99628 applied for a permit to appropriate water on June 16th, 2017. The application proposes the following:
The withdrawal of water, up to 24,000 gallons per day year-round for a community water source from a drilled well located within the Northwest One-quarter of the Northeast One-quarter (NW ¼ NE ¼) of Section 12, Range 59 West, Township 14 South, Seward Meridian, Bristol Bay Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.
Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to gabe.madore@alaska.gov by 5:00 p.m. on February 3rd, 2025. Objection must include the objector’s name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
