Request for Proposals - Edward Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program FY22-23

REQUEST FOR GRANT PROPOSALS

Edward Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (Byrne SCIP)
CFDA 16.738

The Division of Alaska State Troopers seeks proposals from eligible applicants for the Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2022 and 2023 funding under the Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (Byrne SCIP).

40% of the funding allocation for Alaska must be passed through to units of local government. For the purpose of Byrne SCIP, a “unit of local government” is a city, county, borough, township, town, or a federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native tribe. This could include, but is not limited to, an organizational unit of government such as a school district, law enforcement agency, public health agency, or local/tribal court system.

The total amount of Byrne SCIP federal funds available to the State to pass thru to local units of government is approximately $817,000.00. All awards are subject to the availability of appropriated funds and to any modifications or additional requirements that may be imposed by law. Applications and ranked scores will be retained and eligible applicants will be contacted if additional funds are available.

Participants will be required to:

  • Submit quarterly financial and progress reports with appropriate backup documentation.
