The Alaska Breast and Cervical Screening Assistance Program (AK B+C) is soliciting proposals for the
professional services of a community outreach organization or individual contractor to support the
program’s efforts to educate the public on the importance of breast and cervical cancer screening,
link people to the resources and barrier relief available through AK B+C, and provide navigation for
priority populations in the Fairbanks region, to help them successfully complete appropriate screening.

AK B+C is housed in the Department of Health, Division of Public Health, Section of Women’s, Children’s, and Family Health. The outcomes of this contract will strongly align with the Division of Public Health priorities of decreasing cervical cancer and increasing access to health care and will support the program’s goal of reducing breast and cervical cancer morbidity and mortality.
