The purpose of this Amendment #1 is to:

• Extend the due date and time for proposals to be received.

Amendment #1 is not a mandatory return Amendment.  

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Division of Planning & Program Development (P&PD) is soliciting proposals for a consulting firm with specialized experience in the field of functional classification and urban and rural boundary designations.  Experience with the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) functional classification guidance and criteria is required.  FHWA's “Highway Functional Classification Concepts, Criteria, and Procedures” will be used as official guidance for updating the functional classification for all public roads and urban and rural boundaries.

This solicitation will result in the award one (1) contract for the needed services.

Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM prevailing Alaska Time on July 31, 2023. Emailed, faxed or oral proposals will not be accepted.

If you download the solicitation, you must register with the Procurement Officer listed below to receive subsequent amendments. Failure to contact the Procurement Officer may result in the rejection of your offer.
