Purpose: The Department of Health’s Office of Rate Review is conducting four publicly noticed presentations regarding the rate methodology for state plan Medicaid services on the Chart of Community Behavioral Health and Mental Health Physician Clinic Medicaid Covered Services. The purpose of these meetings is to:
- Share the draft decisions, draft rate methodology inputs, and draft rates for rate setting for these services.
- Gather feedback prior to finalizing decisions and moving forward with proposed changes to the Alaska Administrative Code to update the rates.
After these publicly noticed meetings have occurred and feedback is gathered, the Department of Health will finalize the decisions for rate setting and move forward a regulations package to update the rates. The public will be able to provide additional public comment during the formal public comment process for the regulations package on the final decisions.
These four meetings are follow up to the presentation that occurred October 27, 2022 and the provider survey conducted November 8- December 2, 2022.
