This ITB is intended to establish up to three electrical services contracts for each of the defined six(6) zones for various electrical repairs and installation services on an as-needed basis. Contracts shall be considered non-mandatory for all Executive Branch Agencies. All other State of Alaska governmental entities may also purchase from the contracts resulting from this ITB such as the Alaska Legislative Branch, the Alaska Court System, the University of Alaska, Boards and Commissions, and State of Alaska political subdivisions – cities, boroughs and school districts, and federally recognized tribes.

Bids must be received no later than 10:00am Alaska Time on June 13, 2023, at which time a virtual public bid opening will be held. Late bids or amendments will be considered non-responsive and not opened or accepted for evaluation. The virtual public bid opening will be accessible via phone or computer.

Bidders must submit their bid via email, the bid may be emailed to Joshua.Hartman@alaska.gov and must contain the ITB number in the subject line of the email.

Amendment One posted 5/10/2023 along with amended bid schedule. Bid closing date and time remain unchanged.

Amendment Two posted 5/22/2023, establishing an additional virtual pre-bid conference to be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to discuss recommended changes with the vendor community. 

Amendment Three posted 5/25/2023. Addresses a number of concerns from the vendor community, and adjusts the ITB to align better with those concerns. Amended ITB also included to show the changes from the amendments. Changes the deadline for bids to June 13, 2023, 10:00 a.m. (AKDST). Amended Attachment 1 and Bid Schedule also posted to reflect the addition of Sitka Zone.
