NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LAND LEASE: The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (Airport) proposes to execute Successive Land Lease ADA-32417, as follows:  LESSEE: Federal Express Corporation.  PREMISES: Block 21, Lot 1, consisting of approximately 2,774,561 square feet.  LEASE TERM:  Fifty-five (55) years, beginning August 1, 2022, and ending July 31, 2077.  LEASE RENTAL RATE: $499,420.98 ($0.18 per square foot x 2,774,561 square feet).  AUTHORIZED USES: Construction, operation, and maintenance of an air express package sorting and clearance facility. Operations involving fixed-wing aircraft having a certificated maximum gross take-off weight of at least 25,000 pounds.  PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION: New aircraft gates and supporting infrastructure.  ESTIMATED TOTAL VALUE OF PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS: $38.022 million.
