October 29, 2021

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for a public access easement:

APPLICANT: Jordan Pond

PROJECT NAME: ADL 233656

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Johnstone Bay near Seward, AK

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Township 2 South, Range 4 East, Section 32, Seward Meridian.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested a public access easement over State-owned, Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW) managed land approximately 2,487 feet in length, 60 feet in width, with a total area of approximately 3.42 acres. The purpose of the proposed easement is to authorize an access trail for foot traffic and all-terrain vehicle usage to the applicant’s multiple parcels depicted on Plats 94-36, 81-17, and 79-24 of the Seward Recording District. Please refer to the attachments for additional details.

The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein.

REQUESTED TERM: Indefinite

You need not respond if you do not have any comments. After adjudication, this office may issue an authorization with stipulations for the described activity.
