REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

McHugh RWIS Tower Upgrade Design Services
RFP No. 25212004

 The Contractor shall provide professional engineering services to design a new Roadway Weather Information System (RWIS) in the vicinity of MP 111.8 of the Seward Highway within DOT&PF ROW.  Services are anticipated to include a Reconnaissance Engineering Study, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E), Assistance with Design Project Closeout, and Utility Agreements. Assistance During Bidding and Construction shall also be provided. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to negotiate and add services by amendment for Surveying, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Design, Public Involvement, and Traffic and Safety Analysis; however, it is under no obligation to do so and reserves the right to complete the services by any other means, including the use of in-house forces.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package (see below).  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately August 2020 to March 2022. Cost of these professional services is between $50,000 and $100,000.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than August 6, 2020 prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
