The Department is soliciting for sealed bids to provide design and construction bids to make earthquake repairs as described within Section 01000 of the ITB. Location of work will be at the Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla, Alaska and also at the Palmer Correctional Center in Palmer, Alaska. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., June 11, 2020. Bids will be opened at 550 W. 7th Avenue, Suite 1800, Conference Room, Anchorage, Alaska. Note that this may change due to COVID 19.This will be a State and Federal funded project.
A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for this project. It is “Highly Recommended” that you attend the pre-bid site visit that is scheduled for May 28, 2020 at 9AM at the Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla, Alaska and May 27, 2020 at 9AM at the Palmer Correctional Center in Palmer, Alaska. Please contact Scott Nichols, Project Manager, at scott.nichols@alaska.gov to register and submit your request for security clearance forms. Bidders will need to submit a “Request for Clearance” form to access the facilities for each individual attending. This form is included in the bid documents.
