PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF AN INTEREST IN MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN
KOKHANOK, ALASKA BY THE MUNICIPAL LAND TRUSTEE
In accordance with A.S. 44.33.755 and 3 AAC 190.460(1) the Municipal Lands Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, is considering the issuance of a Generator and Bulk Fuel Storage lease for the following described parcel of Municipal Trust land to the Kokhanok Village Council:
That surface estate, including all improvements, located within
Section 32, Township 8 South, Range 32 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska,
being situated in the Native village of Kokhanok, 0.44 acres more or less,
as more particularly described and shown in Appendix A – Property Plan.
The Kokhanok Village Council, the recognized appropriate village entity for the Native village of Kokhanok, adopted a resolution approving the lease and the waiver of the fair market value requirement on November 26, 2019.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed conveyance.
