Division of Health Care Services is soliciting proposals from qualified offerors to provide technical assistance and support the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services with the feasibility, development and implementation of a Diagnostic Related Group (DRG) payment methodology for Alaska hospitals.

********************************************************************************************************In order for offers to be considered responsive, contractor must be able to demonstrate they meet the following minimum prior experience:
-
Within the last five (5) years must have worked with at least two (2) state Medicaid agencies on options for hospital payment methodologies necessary to support a state Medicaid program.

Within the last five (5) years must have worked on at least two (2) different projects evaluating hospital payment methodologies including evaluation of either prospective payment system or other cost-based payment methodologies.
Within the past five (5) years, must have provided technical assistance to at least one (1) state Medicaid agency that has transitioned from a cost-based payment methodology to a DRG payment methodology.

The RFP schedule set out herein represents the State of Alaska’s best estimate of the schedule that will be followed. If a component of this schedule, such as the deadline for receipt of proposals, is delayed, the rest of the schedule may be shifted by the same number of days.
