Here you can register online for training classes or seminars currently being offered. You can also view your personal transcript of classes taken and other educational records, if the training program provides that information. Follow these steps to enroll:

  1. Select a training program from the drop-down list.
  2. Log in --
    • Enter your State of Alaska (SOA) username and password. In most cases, your SOA username and password are the same as your email login. If they are not, or if you don’t know what your SOA password is, contact your department’s IT staff for assistance.
  3. Select the class you want to take.
  4. Review the class summary to make sure the dates and location fit your schedule.
  5. Submit an enrollment request for the class.
  6. If supervisor approval is necessary for enrollment, wait for the e-mail approval.
  7. When notified of enrollment, mark the class date(s) on your calendar!

Division of Personnel and Labor Relations
Learning and Development Program

The Learning and Development (L&D) staff provides professional supervisory, management, leadership, equal employment opportunity compliance, and interpersonal skills training development and delivery.

Training Track online modules are offered anytime and anywhere. Additionally, L&D staff offers virtual leader led proficiency building sessions to practice what you learned.  L&D staff are available for training and performance development consultation.

Finance Training

The Division of Finance (DOF) offers training for IRIS and other technical topics. DOF also offers training for financial reporting in ALDER (ALaska Data Enterprise Reporting), E-Travel Online, and topics related to the division’s mission and services.


 
Procurement Officer Training and Certification

This program provides standardized training for procurement officers within Alaska government. It promotes professionalism and accountability in state procurement operations by ensuring that only competent and trained individuals conduct all procurement. Program courses have been designed to meet national standards for public contracting and all OPPM courses qualify for NIGP/NAPM credit.
