Public Utility Easement

A Decision for ADL 234026 has been signed.

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has approved an application for the following easement:

APPLICANT: Matanuska Electric Association

PROJECT NAME: ADL 234792

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Big Lake, AK

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 17, Township 17 North, Range 3 West, Seward Meridian

ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested approval of a public utility easement that is approximately 370 feet long and 30 feet wide, totaling approximately 0.25 acres, more or less, over state-owned, DMLW managed lands. The purpose of this easement is to install a single-phase,7,200 volt overhead primary electric utility lines to service residential customers.
