NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE ALASKA BOARD OF FISHERIES COMMITTEE ON BOARD PROCESS, MANAGEMENT, AND RESEARCH NEEDS

The Alaska Board of Fisheries (board) Committee on Board Process, Management, and Research Needs will meet on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 beginning at 9:30 am. This committee is composed of three board members: Märit Carlson-Van Dort (chair), Tom Carpenter, and Mike Wood. This meeting will be a continuation of the items discussed during the committee’s September 25 meeting with additional discussion about remote testimony and Department of Law recommendations for improving board processes.

This meeting will take place via webconference. The public will have an opportunity to provide testimony to the committee during this meeting.
