Yakutat Ferry Terminal Reconstruction – Design Services
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Southcoast Region is soliciting to obtain professional engineering design services for improvements to the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) ferry terminal in Yakutat, Alaska. The project includes the planning, analysis, and design of a new side-berth mooring facility intended to improve vessel compatibility. The design and construction activities will be funded through federal sources. A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.
Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately November 15, 2026 to December 31, 2030. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $1,000.000 or greater.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package is available and may be downloaded from our web site at: https://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-rfp-cal.cfm, select Southcoast Region. Potential offerors are encouraged to register as an RFP Holder. Only those registered will receive notices of addenda and notice to bidders. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda affecting the RFP.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received via the means indicated in the RFP no later than October 9, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., prevailing time, or as amended by addenda.
