PUBLIC NOTICE

State Retaining Selection on 

 Statehood Entitlement Lands

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will be retaining selection on Statehood Act entitlement land that was previously considered for relinquishment in favor of a Native Alaska Dingell Act Allotment selection on the west banks of the Taiya Inlet, located in Sections 15 and 16, Township 28 South, Range 59 East, Copper River Meridian, Alaska. A location map is attached to this notice. The allottee is no longer considering this location, therefore the State will be retaining its selection. The lands are not currently owned by the State, they are under Federal management and ownership.

This notice is provided as a courtesy for public information and there is no decision or action that has taken place.
