Public Notice: Proposed Lease

Pursuant to AS 38.05.945
(USGS Quad Map Tyonek C-1)

Subject to AS 38.05.070(b) the Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 10-year lease to the McRoberts Creek Hydro for an existing 1.6-acre hydrofacility located near Palmer, Alaska. The site is located within S1/2 of Section 31 and SW1/4 of Section 32, Township 18 North, Range 3 East, Seward Meridian. 


The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx or is available in hardcopy upon request. All comments must be received in writing at the above listed mailing address or e-mail on or before 11:59 PM on October 15, 2026. To be eligible to appeal DNR’s Final Decision, under AS 38.05.035(i) (m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
