DEC has prepared an individual APDES Preliminary Draft Permit. The draft permit and associated documents are available to the applicant for a 10-day review. Following the closure of the 10-day applicant review period, DEC will prepare a draft permit and fact sheet for a formal 30-day public review period. Public comments will be accepted during the formal 30-day review period. Permit: AK0055875 – UAS Anderson Building Facility

Proposed Permit Coverage: The UAS Anderson Building Facility discharges flow-through seawater from aquatic life holding tanks. Discharge will occur at a maximum daily rate of 100,800 gallons per day to Auke Bay at their outfall located at 58.38000 North latitude and -134.64420 West longitude. No mixing zone is authorized for this discharge.
