The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to lease Lot 3, Block 1400, consisting of approximately 23,364 square feet (ADA-09748), at Kodiak Airport for thirty-three (33) years. Applicant: Kodiak Car Rentals, LLC. Annual rent: $8,761.50 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Non-aeronautical - Vehicle parking and storage for rental car fleet; fuel storage tank for fleet refueling; construction and maintenance of an office/operations building to support car rental operations.

Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., August 20, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
