The initiative 25USCV, An Act Addressing Voter Qualification, is scheduled to appear in the 2026 General Election - Official Election Pamphlet.

Alaska Statute 15.58.020(a)(6)(E), allows for the submission of statements that advocate voter approval or rejection of the initiative in the Ballot Measure Pamphlet.  Submitted statements may not exceed 500 words.  All submissions will be considered, but we are looking for up to three authors to coordinate together a single final statement. The author's name(s) will appear in the pamphlet.  Preference will be given to groups who have registered with APOC.

If you are interested in including a statement in opposition of this initiative in the Official Election Pamphlet, please return the statement in opposition, along with the attached Authors of Initiative Statement form to my attention no later than Wednesday, June 24th 2026.  Electronic submission of statement via e-mail attachment is preferred.
