GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: MP 39 of the Taylor Highway; at approximately Latitude 63.7578° N by Longitude 142.2526° W.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:  SE¼, Section 23, Township 23 North, Range 16 East, Copper River Meridian

QUANTITY REQUESTED: 100,000 cubic yards

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Extraction, processing, and stockpiling of materials

REQUESTED TERM: Five (5) years

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: June 3, 2026

DMLW is seeking information related to the extraction of material from this site that may assist in the development of specific operating/reclamation requirements for the site, or identifying any multiple land use issues that may need to be addressed prior to issuance of this or future contracts.

To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK  99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above.
