Public Comment on Substantial Amendment #3 to State of Alaska Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Action Plan for 2018 Cook Inlet Earthquake

Public Comment on the Substantial Amendment #3 to the State of Alaska Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery Action Plan for the 2018 Cook Inlet Earthquake (CDBG-DR) Program will be held on January 11, 2023 to February 13,2023 at 5P.M. AST.

CDBG-DR funds are allocated only to the CDBG-DR eligible jurisdictions; the Municipality of Anchorage, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, the Kenai Peninsula Borough, and the Cook Inlet Housing Authority. The objective of the program is to address unmet disaster recovery needs through activities authorized under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. 5301 et seq.) (HCDA) related to disaster relief, long-term recovery, restoration of infrastructure and housing, economic revitalization, and mitigation resulting from the 2018 Cook Inlet Earthquake, which occurred on November 30, 2018. The Action Plan describes how the State of Alaska administers the program and the activities to be undertaken during the next six years.
