NOTICE OF UTILITY TARIFF FILING
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Nikishka Bay Utilities, Inc. (NBUI) filed TA20-142, a revenue requirement study, based on a 2017 test year. With TA20-142, NBUI requests an across-the-board permanent rate increase of 10.76 percent to all residential and commercial water customers. In addition, NBUI proposes to increase some of its non-recurring fees and special charges. A sample of the current and proposed water rates and non-recurring charges is shown below.

Additionally, NBUI has requested a waiver of 3 AAC 48.275(h), the requirement that rates be supported by a Cost of Service Analysis unless applied on an across-the-board basis. NBUI proposes a rate increase of 10.76 percent be applied to each customer class except metered bulk water. For metered bulk water, NBUI proposes a maximum rate with flexibility to negotiate with individual customers.
This notice does not contain every revision proposed in TA20-142. The Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from that proposed.
