The Alaska Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children’s Services (OCS), is seeking public input to help develop a future grant solicitation to support family contact hours and/or transportation to those services.

Feedback will help OCS inform the services, safeguards, provider qualifications, and grant requirements that would be included in a future application package.

Respondents may use the Word document for their comments which can then be attached to an email or printed in hard copy and mailed.   Or respondents may simply send an email addressing any or all of the questions in the attached. 

This request is for public input only. It is not a solicitation, does not commit OCS to issue a grant, and will not result in an award. OCS may use the public input received to refine service requirements and develop a future Request for Proposal. 

Interested parties may submit written responses either via mail or email.   All responses – including those sent via mail -- must be received and date-stamped by DFCS by 5pm on Monday, October 26th ADT
