Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA410-13, requesting Commission approval of tariff revisions clarifying the transition to GVEA’s Large Generator Interconnection Procedures (LGIP) and establishing an interim period before the opening of the first Cluster Request Window. GVEA requests that the tariff revisions contained in TA410-13 become effective November 12, 2026.
With TA410-13, GVEA establishes April 1, 2027, as the deadline for large generator Interconnection Requests to be received and processed before the first Cluster Request Window. GVEA proposes to open the first Cluster Request Window on October 1, 2027. Interconnection Requests received after April 1, 2027, and before October 1, 2027, will not be accepted. The proposed terms apply to GVEA-owned projects as well as other proposed projects subject to the LGIP.
