The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve Trident Seafoods Corporation’s application for Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ0230MSS02 Revision 1 for the Saint Paul Seafood Processing Facility.

Activity: Trident Seafoods Corporation applied for a minor permit under 18 AAC 508(6) to revise the terms and conditions of the minor permit for the replacement of two emissions units.
Emissions: Change in emissions for stationary source will not exceed:1.84 tons of Particulate Matter and 0.01 tons of Sulfur Dioxide. The total annual potential emissions of regulated air pollutants, other than greenhouse gases, are 179.50 tons.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50.
