NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS
The Board of Regents is scheduled to hold the following meetings:
Board officers and committee chairs will hold a special meeting via Zoom on Thursday, October 1 at 8:30 a.m. to review the topics suggested for the November 4-6, 2026 committee meetings and full board meeting. No action will be taken at this meeting.
The Board of Regents will hear public testimony via statewide audio conference on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. For additional information regarding public testimony, please visit: http://www.alaska.edu/bor/public-testimony/
Board committee meetings will begin on Wednesday, November 4, tentatively at 1 p.m., in Butrovich 109 on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Committee meeting start times will be updated after the October 1 meeting. Start times are approximate; committee meetings will begin after the previous committee meeting concludes.
Wednesday, November 4
- Governance Committee – 1 p.m.
- Ad Hoc Committee on Recruitment, Retention and Graduation – 2 p.m.
Thursday, November 5
- Audit & Finance Committee – 8 a.m.
- Facilities & Land Management Committee – 10:30 a.m.
- Academic & Student Affairs Committee –1:30 p.m.
The Board of Regents will hold a regular meeting of the full board beginning Thursday, November 5 at approximately 3:30 p.m. or immediately after the committee meetings, also in Butrovich 109. The full board will continue on Friday, November 6 at 8 a.m. No public testimony will be taken.
Agendas will be added to the Board of Regents’ web page at: www.alaska.edu/bor/agendas approximately 10 days before the meeting. With the exception of executive sessions, committee meetings and full board meetings are open to the public and will be live streamed at www.alaska.edu/bor/live.
