NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE ALASKA BOARD OF FISHERIES COMMITTEE ON BOARD PROCESS, MANAGEMENT, AND RESEARCH NEEDS
The Alaska Board of Fisheries (board) Committee on Board Process, Management, and Research Needs will meet on Friday, September 25, 2026 beginning at 9:00 am. This committee is composed of three board members: Märit Carlson-Van Dort (chair), Tom Carpenter, and Mike Wood. The committee will be discussing Traditional Knowledge reports to evaluate if any changes are needed, and will also be discussing ways to most efficiently utilize time during board meetings and the various opportunities for public input to the board.
This meeting will take place via webconference. The public will have an opportunity to provide testimony to the committee during this meeting.
