The Department of Administration, Division of Retirement and Benefits, is working with the Alaska Retiree Health Plan Advisory Board (RHPAB) to review the following proposed update to the AlaskaCare Defined Benefit Retiree Health Plan:
- Add licensed massage therapists to the list of recognized provider types
The proposals are available on the Retiree Health Plan Advisory Board webpage for review.

All comments must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on October 19, 2026.

After the public comment period ends, the RHPAB will provide their advisory recommendation to the Plan Administrator – the Commissioner of the Department of Administration.
