Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: VITUS ENERGY, LLC

PROJECT NAME: LAS 36190

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Within the tributary known as Steamboat Slough directly east of Bethel, Alaska on the Kuskokwim River at coordinates 60.785348, -161.701864.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Approximately one acre within Section 14 of Township 008N, Range 071W, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant requests seasonal winter storage of two (2) marine barges and one (1) tug boat during the annual non-operational winter period before returning to service each spring. The vessels will not be used for cargo operations, fueling, maintenance activities or occupancy while in storage.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: October 1, 2026
End: September 30, 2031

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: September 15, 2026

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
