AMENDMENT ONE:
The purpose of this amendment is to address the following changes/additions/clarifications:

1. The State received a protest of the solicitation on August 27, 2026. This Amendment addresses, in part, the points raised in the protest.
2. The due date for responses to this solicitation is extended to 4:30 p.m. Alaska Time, September 18, 2026.
3. Clarification: throughout the solicitation documents the words vendor, contractor, offeror, and prospective awardee are used interchangeably.
4. Update the cost proposal worksheet.
5. Provide answers to questions from potential offerors:

The State of Alaska Office of Procurement and Property Management is seeking a contract(s) with a qualified Offerors to provide shredding services.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to result in a multi-award, non-mandatory term contract to provide shredding services in six zones (Fairbanks, Anchorage, Mat-Su Valley, Kenai Peninsula, Juneau, and Ketchikan) throughout Alaska for Executive Branch Agencies and Political Subdivisions. The contracts established shall be on an as-needed basis for all Executive Branch Agencies. All other State of Alaska governmental entities may purchase from the contracts resulting from this RFP, including entities such as the Alaska Legislative Branch, the Alaska Court System, the University of Alaska, Boards and Commissions, and all State of Alaska political subdivisions, cities, boroughs, and school districts.

Proposals must be received no later than 4:30 P.M. Alaska Daylight Time on Friday, September 18, 2026 (extended from 9/11/2026). Late proposals or amendments will be considered non-responsive and not opened or accepted for evaluation.
