Project Overview

DOT&PF is updating the SEATP to guide transportation improvements over the next 20 years. The plan:

  • Considers both intercommunity travel and local transportation needs
  • Addresses all modes of transportation, including roads, ferries, airports, trails, and marine facilities
  • Identifies regional priorities and potential projects to meet those needs
  • Helps inform the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and the Aviation Improvement Program (AIP)
  • Covers the Southeast Alaska planning area, which is characterized by unique geography and a reliance on diverse transportation modes

If you require reasonable accommodation and/or special modifications to participate in an Open House, please contact the project manager listed above. Please make your request at least 10 days before the accommodation is needed in order to make any necessary arrangements. To communicate by text telephone, dial TTY 711 or 1-800-770-8973.
