The Alaska State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) provides educational loan repayment to licensed primary care, dental, and mental health practitioners who commit to serving Alaska's underserved communities.

Eligible practitioners providing direct patient care at approved practice sites located in federally designated Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) may receive loan repayment in exchange for a two-year service commitment.

Healthcare employers interested in sponsoring practitioners must first complete the employer and site affiliation process and receive program approval.

Applications are now open for eligible practitioners employed by affiliated employers.
