Requesting Input for Proposed Noncompetitive Sale to
Public and Charitable Applicant - ADL 234803

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW) is conducting a public notice for a noncompetitive land sale located approximately 10 miles northwest of Homer in the Kenai Peninsula Borough. The parcel is an unsurveyed portion of land south of the road in NW1/4SW1/4 of Section 28, Township 5 South, Range 14 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska containing approximately 20.00 acres, more or less.

Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 Notice, the public is invited to submit comments on the Preliminary Decision or draft mineral order. The deadline for public comment is 4:30 PM, Monday, aUGUST 31, 2026. Only persons from whom DNR DMLW receives timely, written comment during the identified comment period will be eligible to file an appeal of the Final Finding and Decision (FFD).
