PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF AN INTEREST IN MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN
DOT LAKE, ALASKA BY THE MUNICIPAL LANDS TRUSTEE
In accordance with A.S. 44.33.755 and 3 AAC 190.460(1) the Municipal Lands Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, approves the issuance of a 55-year land lease to the Dot Lake Village Council for a proposed Transient Housing project on the following described parcel of Municipal Trust Land:
The surface estate that certain real property located within Section 28, Township 22 North, Range 7 East, Copper River Meridian, Alaska, being situated within the remainder of Lot 1 of Plat 88-15, Fairbanks Recording District, Alaska containing 2.48 acres more or less, more particularly described in Appendix A of the draft lease.
The Dot Lake Village Council, the recognized appropriate village entity for the Native Village of Dot Lake, adopted a resolution approving the granting of the land lease and the waiver of the fair market value requirement on July 9, 2026.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed action.

Comments are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 19, 2026.
Following the comment deadline, all responses will be reviewed and the Commissioner’s decision on this matter may be modified as a result of information received.
