Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility (AWWU) filed TA184-122 and TA185-126 for its water and sewer utilities, respectively, seeking approval of its Levy Upon Connection (LUC) assessment rates for 2025 construction. Under AWWU’s water and sewer tariff provisions, a parcel served by a water main or sewer line may be subject to an assessment at the LUC rate for the year of construction, multiplied by the total parcel benefited area. The proposed 2025 water LUC rate is $1.13330 per square foot, and the proposed 2025 sewer LUC rate is $2.46323 per square foot.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification, which varies from that proposed.
